@robably__ I think it's a great brand ploy. It makes it appear more hacky and cyber, even Discord itself is designed to democratise the hacker aesthetic. It is a great move to make early adopters feel important.

@thisisgrey Actually thats a great point I hadn't considered. I was using Adobe Firefly and thought it was much friendlier. But the hacker aesthetic makes sense. It adds an air of exclusivity, like if you know you know

@robably__ Where are the early innovator communities based? Discord. It makes perfect sense to set it up there, especially when you can summon the bot to any channel you want.

@robably__ It’s crazy. How hard would it be to just toss up an API. Their results are better than the latest from OpenAI, it’s a shame they refuse to budge.

@robably__ Yea I’m also constantly surprised by they haven’t made a solution yet. Surely they could have put together a simple chat interface by now or an API at least so others could create skins for it. Maybe the user friction is strategic? Maybe they don’t want explosive growth just yet?…
