One of my daughter’s friends (14) is starting a wellness brand and sent my daughter a “welcome gift.”
Better branding and unboxing than 90% of all DTC.
For everyone asking to see the packaging- let me try to find it in my house.
The package was met with excitement and the quick removal of pieces ( unsurprisingly my daughter cares significantly less than I do about packaging and branding)!
@boringgeek
I didn’t take any pictures ( I know I know)- but when my daughter gets off “her calls” this morning I’m going to see exactly how much of the packaging is still intact.
My bet, knowing her, is... not much of it.
@rhiankatie
Amazing. There should be a program for mentoring these young adults on how to actually get started in business - the non-sexy stuff. My 5-year-old daughter makes 'inventions' daily that she wants to sell and make money..
@Karanjassar
I totally agree.
IMO the non-sexy stuff is how you actually make the money!
I love that your 5 year year old is making inventions 😊. What are her favorite inventions to date?
@themarketingeek
I love this so much! Is she still saying handmade candles for an animal sanctuary? If so DM how to buy- I love candles and I love animals and I LOVE supporting young entrepreneurs
@heykbb
It was honestly so well thought out.
There was a mindfulness coloring component so colored pencils were included.
From my perspective the CEO made moves based on the idea that every person getting a box had none of the supplies needed.
@jaronlukas
I’ll try my best! There was so much delight around the unboxing that it was very rapidly unboxed - I’m assuming the actual box is in my daughters room but she’s a teenager so I can’t guarantee anything. I’ll text you if it can be located after she is off of “her calls”
@rhiankatie
I would loooooove to hear this story. I’ve seen quite a few tween & teen girls (including my own daughter!) do something like this — and do it well —and I’m fascinated by it (and by girl entrepreneurship in general 💪🏻)
@herbadmother
It was so well thought out with an attention to detail that is either 1) ignored or 2)unthought of by most.
Let’s talk more about it!
Also I have since found out that my daughter designed the logo for this brand??
