People are losing respect for our system of justice because a Speaker of the House stands outside a courthouse to falsely denigrate it.
If you have no respect for the rule of law, Mr. Speaker,
At least have some self-respect.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there — especially my wife Eve.
Smart, caring, beautiful and bold, our kids are so fortunate to call you mom.
Sam Rubin was a giant in Los Angeles.
For decades, Sam’s quick smile and laugh were a fixture in the homes of so many.
Our mornings simply won’t be the same without him. Thinking of his family and loved ones.
KTLA 5 is profoundly saddened to report the death of Sam Rubin. Sam was a giant in the local news industry and the entertainment world, and a fixture of Los Angeles morning television for decades. His laugh, charm and caring personality touched all who knew him. Sam was a loving
Republicans in Congress refused to continue this program.
Now families will be paying hundreds of dollars more each year on internet service.
The
@HouseGOP
must join Democrats and take action and save the Affordable Connectivity Program.
The Affordable Connectivity Program has helped over 23 million households sign up for discounted broadband internet service.
In April, funding is set to expire.
We must continue to fund this program, and ensure all of our communities are connected in this digital age.
In my district and across California, communities have been devastated by wildfires year after year.
And they’re only getting worse.
Grateful to
@NormaJTorres
for her work to bring attention to
#WildfirePreparednessWeek
and support for life-saving fire safety measures.
Big news today –
California is set to receive almost $600 million from
@HUDgov
to help tackle homelessness and increase access to housing.
We will need much more, but this means more access to quality, safe, and affordable housing options in towns and cities across our state.
As we honor
#AAPIHeritageMonth
, we do so at a time when the AAPI community is facing unprecedented challenges.
Grateful for the chance to meet with CA local and state leaders today to discuss these issues – and what we can do to make sure our communities are safe and supported.

for your powerful speech today. And your fierce condemnation of rising antisemitism in the United States & across the globe.
We must come together to combat this ancient hatred.
That starts with having leaders willing to call it out – in all of its forms.
Today is Yom HaShoah.
A day to remember the horrors of the Holocaust.
To remember the six million Jews and millions of others murdered by the Nazis.
And with antisemitism on the rise across the world — a time to rededicate ourselves to an all-important promise:
Never again.
For too long, DACA recipients have been barred from getting the coverage they deserve – despite paying billions in taxes each year.
This decision by President Biden will help improve the health and well-being of thousands of DACA recipients in California and across the country.
Dreamers are our loved ones, nurses, teachers, and small business owners – they deserve the promise of health care just like all of us.
Today, my Administration is making that real by expanding affordable health coverage through the Affordable Care Act to DACA recipients.
