@tux1980 @RaveenTheDream I was speaking to a superintendent from Colorado about this. He said that the community stepped up by having the YMCA, Boys/Girls Club, and daycare facilities create Friday programs. It was a win for everyone.

Students do not need to go to school 5 days a week to learn. There are ways to get all learning in during a 4 day and even 3.5 learning week.

@RaveenTheDream Parents need someone to watch their kids 5 days a week so they can work. Reduction in school days will never happen for this very reason.

@reggie19061 @tux1980 @RaveenTheDream The issue then, though is the communities that don’t have access to these programs. There are also places that are way out in BFN that cannot get kids transported to them.
