When I was being attacked by my campus admins and police it was really really intriguing to find out that I could sue the university president personally for suppressing my speech. Do with that information what you will.
"Be advised: a public college administrator who violates clearly established law will not retain qualified immunity & can be held personally responsible for monetary damages for violating 1st Amendment rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. See Harlow v. Fitzgerald, 457 U.S. 800 (1982)
(contd:) "[Uni Name] must immediately halt its investigation and clarify to the university community that your administration will not investigate faculty/students for lawfully expressing their views."

These universities have sh*t loads of money at their disposal, my friend. No matter how many lawsuits you file, they'll get away with everything without batting an eye.
But the only way to move forward is by taking a chance. I hope it works out for you. 🙏🏻

One time in college ge my teacher had the wi does open. Nice day.
A group stood out side the windows talking loud, laughing, making a racket.
He went out ran them off.
Said "yiu had a right to an education and they were infringing on it."
Statistics class. He ruled.

That’s a federal crime. No Qualified Immunity. Do the right thing and follow through. It won’t go to trial. Someone will be writing a check.
