today is the 8th anniversary of the night i told my ex i wanted a divorce. if you're on the fence about leaving a partner who doesn't meet your needs and has been taking you for granted, this is the sign you're looking for. Dump them.

Happy Liberation Day, doll! I've been celebrating mine too every August 3rd since 1999. That's the only day a year I do whatever TF MY worthy heart desires, without apology or consideration, from sunrise to sunset. XO

Agree 💯. It's far better to be alone than to be with the wrong person. The relationship I've been able to cultivate w/ myself while single will serve me well, I know, for the rest of my days. I am SO grateful. Happy anniversary.
