Can't over-state enough how much this absolutely destroys teams on the backend. If you have to do unpaid hours to get something done because your studio doesn't give you enough, that is a management/production problem. And plenty of studios abuse the passion of new devs.

@pwnieride Want to also add: If your project is behind and needs adjustments, leaders need to consider things other than "work staff more": * Reduce scope * Increase time/modify timelines * Increase headcount (temp or perm) * Reduce quality That most studios see one answer is maddening

@pwnieride The practice of a business or entity desiring for the people to work exceedingly long hours to maximize profits goes all the way back to the invention of forced servitude. It’s why the South had to fight the Civil War, industry was literally built on the premise of free labor.
