And plenty of studios abuse the passion of new devs.

If your project is behind and needs adjustments, leaders need to consider things other than "work staff more":
* Reduce scope
* Increase time/modify timelines
* Increase headcount (temp or perm)
* Reduce quality
That most studios see one answer is maddening
