@DGretta_Author No one should pay 360k for Bucknell U. Her high school counselor and her parents failed her. Imagine she has 360k to start a business if she just went to community college. She wouldโ€™ve been so far ahead of her classmates.

Friend of mine told me his daughter graduated Bucknell University and he spent $360k on her education there last 4 years. Majored in Animal Behavior. Living at home now making $18/hr at a job at an amusement park.

@pugxi @DGretta_Author 22 year olds don't know how to start a business. This is partly the fault of the university, also just a part of being 22

@pugxi @DGretta_Author Bucknell has a great networking system and really prepares its students well for the real world. The average Bucknell graduate will make at least $1 million more in his working career than will the average graduate of a public university.

@kd43214321 @DGretta_Author Nothing again Bucknell. It ainโ€™t worth 360k. With 360K cash in hand after graduation Iโ€™m willing to bet she wouldโ€™ve gone a lot further than average graduate, regardless from public or private college

@pugxi @DGretta_Author Like literally, that's more than tuition, room, and board. It's 80k per year currently so it's been cheaper in previous years. Not to mention it is ranked 30th in liberal arts schools. If they paid full freight then they've got the money to not be worried about it.

@pugxi @DGretta_Author What makes you think coming from her family she would have followed that track?

@pugxi @DGretta_Author Many people such as myself refused to go into debt at that age. She chose poorly.

@pugxi @DGretta_Author Forget that. Imagine 360k into IRA by early 20s.

@pugxi @DGretta_Author She could have gotten a vet tech degree in 18 months for under $50k including living expenses, and started at Busch Gardens or SeaWorld at $22 an hour
