Has nothing to do with love you can love who you with. Still doesn't make them your first choice. You're confusing being someone's top choice and being loved as if they're the same.

A person can genuinely love the person they marry even if they aren’t the first person they wanted to marry, If the first person they wanted doesn’t want them they have to move on.
