I've been having slowwwww progress at the gym (2-3kgs per month) but yeah im gonna go on strict calorie deficit, hoping i dont fall into binging

Depends on the workouts, weight lifting burns a lot more calories than cardio + a calorie deficit or just watching your meals in general and you can look like that in like a few months

my best guess too! only someone who is working out for first time can see results this crazy in two months unless they are on a crazy disordered diet

no offense but if you barely see changes after 8 months you are doing this absolutely wrong. 8 months is enough time to transform into a whole different person. That’s enough time to shed off as much as 90 pounds
