It definitely feels like they said “No one cares about Echo so do whatever you want” while they micromanaged any name that was even semi-recognizable to death like Moon Knight.

I mean, the Moon Knight director said he cut all the action scenes out of the show because he thinks they're boring, so i don't think he cares that much about violence in his story

To me it was intended that way. Either MK or echo had to be the first hero and just be a big tease to gauge the audience interest for the next show to really get into it or not.
