@JustUnderReal @DegenRolf Some minority populations are over-represented among perpetrators resulting in them being over-represented in prisons. It is reasonable to ask why they are over-represented among perpetrators of crimes. And what might reduce this. But not prosecuting crimes harms non-criminals.

Meta-analysis: Evidence that the US criminal justice system is systematically biased by race and class has been greatly exaggerated. "Overall, the criminal justice system appears to be remarkably neutral."

@DegenRolf It admits that minority populations is over-represented in prisons. So which of the following is true: 1. they are essentially more violent, 2. the legal system is built to justify condemning different cultures 3. that they systemically can't afford a good defense? 1 is bigotry

@patriciamdavis @DegenRolf So which is it, 1 or 2? If 1, the answer you are suggesting is to get rid of what is essentially the problem (minorities). If 2, then the legal system should adapt to the other cultures.

@JustUnderReal @DegenRolf You have created a false choice and then put a false solution on it.

@patriciamdavis @JustUnderReal @DegenRolf One disparity that jumps out w/ bad outcomes across racial groups is lack of 2 parent homes.

@Marmas110189 @JustUnderReal @DegenRolf Is it lack of two parents or specifically lack of a father. Does a two female parent home solve this?

@patriciamdavis @JustUnderReal @DegenRolf No use debating an ideological partisan who forces a false dilemma logical fallacy. It only wants you to confirm its presuppositions.
