Chanhee had always loved music since he was young. In middle school, he was part of a band as a vocalist. 🐱 Did you like singing since you were young? 🐧 Of course, I did. I was in the school band… I was the vocalist

Talking about his experience in the band: “We were in middle school so we always couldn't match well or someone made mistakes and there was no perfect stage but I would like to go back on that pure music (performance) once”

At 3rd year high school, he had to decide his career path. His parents wanted him to choose a more stable job but he convinced them to let him choose the music path.

He promised them that if he doesn’t succeed by 20, he’d go to university and go back to studying.

Chanhee enjoyed his time at the music academy. He loved his friends and instructors too.

He said that it was his happiest memory before debut 💭 What was your happiest memory before we became THE BOYZ? 🐧 To prepare for my music career, I really liked going to the academy the most

He then passed his audition and became a trainee at 19 years old
