Took this in Alcazaba, built by the Ummayads. The fortress is huge, and used to be a small Phoenician fortress.

What they built was a reflection of who they were: men of passion and ambition, trial blazers, their souls were inspired by God and they saw His beauty everywhere and this is reflected in the things they built.

Andalusian architecture is beautiful, especially AlHamra. However i will say that I also find mamluki architecture beautiful. Take a look at madrassat AlSultan Hassan in Cairo.
