@oldschooltrack @PennTrackXC It's all about the numbers and the PIAA sees it fit to award team/individual bids equitably based on number of teams in a given classification/district rather than the history of the QUALITY of these teams/individuals. It is what it is.

@oldschooltrack @PennTrackXC According to PIAA’s formula, D7 gets 2.45 teams so they round down to 2. D1 gets 5.56 teams so they round up to 6. Therefore, 6 berths out of 59 schools for D1, but only 2 berths out of 26 schools in D7. So 10.2% of teams advance in D1 compared to 7.7% in D7. Seem fair?
