@NormanBrennan @KarenFindlayMPS @apoliticaleye It's all falling apart Norman a view which is echoed on Met SM groups & I believe the Met's own Intranet. Constant references to '100's' of bad cops far outweigh the very occasional reference to the 1000's of good ones. Communication, as here & generally is woeful.

'If you decide you're not going to allow this union flag but then allow the Pride flag what are you saying about fear and favour?' GB News Home & Security Editor Mark White discusses a police charity badge that Met Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley wants to ban.

@obbsie Hugely embarrassing for Mark Rowley and even more worrying one of his senior team even came out to deny there was a ban.

@KarenFindlayMPS @apoliticaleye No, that won't wash. That patch has been worn for some years by many. I know because I see numerous times when observing protests. It may not have been on the 'official list,' but it was tolerated. Look at the response from the Mayor's office to a query.

@obbsie @NormanBrennan @KarenFindlayMPS @apoliticaleye Hoisted by one own petard…. #Hovis phrase applies to some of the previous comments from senior managers and politicians….? Actually I am wrong. They are Teflon coated.

@KarenFindlayMPS @NormanBrennan There is much more that could and should be done and of course we old sweats amplify the good stuff where we can as evidenced by our writings and TV appearances as well as tweets. But the Met is struggling and I know we are about to lose more officers that we cannot afford to.
