By far one of the weirdest retcons in warriors has to be the season the three were born in.
Leafpool’s Wish depicts the book in winter, thus saying the three were born in winter. This is also the scene portrayed in maps.

However, timelinewise this doesn’t make any sense.
Twilight took place in spring, meaning that’s when Crowfeather and Leafpool ran off. This fits in with The Sight taking place in winter, when the three are made apprentices.
So Leafpool’s Wish would HAVE to take place in summer

Like yeah thematically Leafpool and Squirrelflight wandering off through a blizzard seems really cool but it just doesn’t make any sense.
Funny enough the warriors wiki lists the three as being born in summer

There was also that whole plot thing about how Jayfeather remembered walking through snow as a kit in po3.
