We’re always just told everything. “Oh the people in hell aren’t that bad they’re good people deep inside!” But we don’t see that! We’re shown awful person after awful person and then we’re told “oh we sung a song about friendship they’re good people except they’re not!”

We could’ve been given interesting characters! Characters that were pushed into bad paths when they were alive! We could’ve been given nuance! Even something as simple as “this character killed 12 people to save their daughter” would’ve been interesting.

Corruption, that is implied why. They show us that and how Adam is too willing to not give sinners a chance. It shows us why that`s bad, it gives Adam a free excuse to freely slaughter sinners for fun. It doesn`t just tell us.
