@selectwario Shouldn’t this literally be illegal from the 4th amendment. Why is this allowed

Am I crazy for thinking it's absolutely insane that SWAT can just barge into anyone's home over any random person's anonymous tip? How is this just accepted as normal? I can't imagine it helps save lives as much as it puts innocent people in danger for no fucking reason.

@mtlrosefinch @selectwario ha ha yeah you’d think so but it’s not observed by the government at all, might as well not exist.

@mtlrosefinch @selectwario UNreasonable search and seizure Swatting calls are intentionally extreme crimes (csam, bombs, hostage, etc) it’s reasonable to barge in to search quickly without asking questions first because of the level of danger

@mtlrosefinch @selectwario It would really suck if I was being held hostage and the SWAT team had to wait hours on a warrant. Its called “unreasonable” for a reason, because yes, the police can search you unwarranted if it is reasonable to do so.

@mtlrosefinch @selectwario It’s considered reasonable because every call like this is assumed to be the truth
