@nowak_paul It's in the interest of mainly Tory MPs that the salaries of Private Board Member's be high so that when they lose their seats, get sacked etc they have a decent salary to fall back on.

@nowak_paul The irony is never lost on me when the Tories talk of a 'high skilled, high wage economy' and then literally tell millions of highly skilled workers such as nurses, teachers, fire fighters, railway workers (and the list could go on), they all need to show pay restraint.
