I have adult children. It pains me beyond belief that I am encouraging them to leave the state of CA when they get married, so they don’t raise children in this state. Unless something turns around quickly, this state will be a cautionary tale for parents in the US.

I sent my grown kids out of California. All of them. I have them spread out. I will stay and fight. But they need to leave California in order to live the life they want.

If I had small children, & planned on using public schools for their education, I would leave the State. And I am a retired California elementary school teacher too. And don't blame the teachers (we always get blamed)

I’m not sure this is necessary. My kids with young children are planning to homeschool, if/when needed. Maybe I’m being optimistic but I think blowback from parents in state to gender/queer ideology in schools is only at very beginning stages. Too many are still barely …

Besides where are you going to go? This is being pushed from top down at Fed & all national mainstream institution level also. We’re all in same country, some states may resist more than others, but…
Canada is extremely captured too, way worse than US right now.

I followed my kids but we live here in California. Most are older so they still got exemptions and they only have got the basics . We live in a red county so not so much of the trans stuff .unfortunately it’s everywhere it’s just the worst here . It really makes you sad

I'd say the whole west coast is in the same boat. I can see the writing on the wall in WA but can't convince hubby that we should pack up our family and leave. It's a terrible place to raise our son.

I have two boys. They will never be able to buy a house so long as they stay in California. The worst schools, the worst roads, the worst homeless problem, the highest taxes, we're doing them a favor by encouraging them to leave.
