I’m so angry. Angry that unscientific, unlawful mandates have robbed my children from a normal life. My 7 year old asked me if she could just go back to kindergarten when life was normal.

Hi Nicole, are you homeschooling? If so maybe look for homeschooling groups that get together for activities, go on field trips, ask for zoom ability with other kids the same age. Also places such as adventure online give fun learning in a virtual world where kids can “hang out”

Not sure where you live but it’s our job as parents to push against this for the sake of the kids. Have parties, go on vacation or camping. Help protect their psyche, they need it. We just got back from Hawaii and do lots of camping. Just for this reason. Not fair to them.

I’m a “retired” teacher, to young to collect retirement I left because I can’t teach children anymore I teach have to teach the test. I love teaching and I’m thinking I could start a “tutoring” service for parents who want their children homeschooled.

Sweet girl! She’s smart and knows we need to go back to normal! Hope you can homeschool her or get her out of her current tyrannical school! I’m angry for all of the children. It’s so sad what adults have put on them!

My grandchild's normal school life stopped mid JK. She is now Grade 1 but has never gone back to normal school. She attends a pod with four children and teacher. She is one of the lucky ones. I work in mental health and I understand your anger. Children have been made scapegoats.
