Here's a stupid quirk: Rockies won't make up their rained-out game in Atlanta. They'll play just 161 games. If the season ended today, the Royals have the same number of wins, but one more loss. So they would pick ninth in the draft, the Rockies 10th.

doesn’t really matter. MLB draft is the only draft where draft position is kinda pointless, Trout was drafted 22nd.
