A bit of hyperbole. Trevor May's fastball was more routine imo. But the Mets were throwing very hard.

Honest to God we’re 22-20 only because of our pitching.
Without anemia at the plate and dreadful injuries....I feel we could be 32-10 with better fortune and hitting performance.
