I think people assume that growth is linear, but mentally ill ppl get that it super is not. And while that sucks, it's okay, cus it takes a long time to understand that we can't possibly have learned it all just yet. Being alive, kind of by definition, means we have more to learn

It's far from linear. For me, it's been more quadratic both with growth in confidence and with how etched in sobriety has become since I don't know what drugs I can take and not mess with transitioning or my psychiatric meds.
