I've been taking my 4 year old to Sudan + Palestine protests and she is making connections, the chants, esp. the one's arnd food + children resonate with her. If she can, the rest of the world can too. Who profits, who harms, who gets dispossessed and suffers? It's all connected.

Her favorite chants are “Free the People, Free the Land” “No Food, No Peace” “no justice, no peace” and “the occupation, shut it down.” And she says she goes to the protests for her sister Aya in Sudan and all the children who are scared (like she was in the beg. of the war).

*I'm not talking about going to protests but making some connections between Sudan and Palestine and the political economy of wars in general and how many of us are complicit in them.

Children are very vulnerable to covid & shouldnt spend more time in public than is necessary. It appears you missed one major connection. If your daughter develops Long Covid, she will (understandably) think you cared more about protecting strangers than her. Ableds dont get it
