now has the largest number of displaced people in the world 7.1 million (5.9 mil. newly war-displaced), very few countries have created special visa programs for Sudanese refugees and for many, their 6 month visas are about to expire.

It’s probably really NONE…if we think of this in relation of the framework created for European refugees, but I’m including visa extensions here and I might not know of others.

I’m so sorry Yassir. That is so terrible. I hope they can at least issue her a tourist visa. This is how I brought my parents in some years ago and we then started the family reunion process before their visas expired.

and other Gulf countries have temporary special visa considerations but the UK’s was only 6 months. I’m not sure when the others expire. Canada offered visa extensions for ppl who were already in country but none of it is like what was offered to European refugees.
