My guess is a very wonky translation or just advertising purposes, I think one release called the series "Mission Impossible" lol.

In Taiwan, JoJo used to be published under this title which literally translates to "Strong Guy Frontline"
Seems like localization teams had an aversion to having the name "JoJo" in the title lol
