Some have no quality, but they are there in position and forcefully impose themselves.
If you don't execute, you are charged harshly.
It doesn't work anymore: if we don't want you, because they still stay there.

Even with AI appearing, there is a huge lack of good managers. If your employees start leaving cuz of you, you will be replaced instantly.
So they have to learn, otherwise they won't be at their place

One thing that bothers me is being micromanaged.
That’s one huge thing I try not to do to my employees..

I have seen all of those over the years first hand. They are worse one over the other.
From what I've observed, in particular in large stagnant public companies, it is a result of what Steve Jobs called "bozo explosion".
