Again - Delete Your Followers
But not all, only the bots.
Why?
- Your impressions will decrease.
- Your credibility will suffer.
- Your growth will stall.
How to Detect:
- They have significantly fewer followers than people they are following.
- Their posts have very few…
To check your bots, use this tool, it will show your score, the higher, the better. … I am thinking of buying this one. Share which score it would give you
@mikerusanoff
This really does not make any sense. Why do you want:
Your impressions to decrease
Your credibility to suffer
Your growth stalled?
Bots following you do not impact your algorithm as far as I have found.
@d2fl
They do. With 7k followers you should have at least 1.4k impressions on your 3-5 daily posts. It is just math. If they don't read your content, your content will be shown less to others.
@mikerusanoff
I don't think we have such an option. You can't remove someone from your followers list.
You could block them. But isn't that too harsh a step for just following you.
They are not causing any issues. They unfollow you after a few days or Twitter block these accounts after a few…
@kalesh_13
They do harm you. And you can remove from web version or block and unblock it on mobile. I am talking from my experience. You can experiment if you want
@mikerusanoff
I was getting stagnant growth/impressions. So I blocked like 30 bots.
Unfortunately, I deleted too many too quick, so X locked my account (just had to do arkase test).
But, after that, my impressions went up almost the next day.
@mikerusanoff
Removed 11 of my bot followers today 😓
Remove option is available under 'Following/Follower' tab, which you can avail from 'Profile" on the web version.
@mikerusanoff
Any automatic tool recommendations? I know I have hundreds at this point but it’s not worth my time and most definitely killing my engagement.
@mikerusanoff
Idk if X cleared them out for me after liking this post but I lost almost 100 followers and I didn’t do a single thing 👀 what is going on
