The blunt reality is that if Solskjaer had no prior association with the club, a manager who had got relegated with Cardiff and won leagues with Molde never would have been appointed by a club like Utd. It's not that it's too early to tell. It's that he shouldn't be in the job.

While I understand certain reservations about Conte, this myth that seems to have spread that he just an updated Mourinho is bizarre. Covered him very closely at Chelsea and there were times that team were sensational. The 3-1 away to City and 5-0 against Everton were superb.
