I want to clarify a lot of misinformation going around, and share some upcoming Fantom news.

1/ As many of you are aware, Anton, who works with Andre, tweeted that they were “terminating” 25 projects. This was misunderstood. They are “terminating” their involvement, but handing over anything they run to the existing teams.

2/ Many of these projects have existing teams. For instance, Yearn Finance has been around for years:

3/ @MultichainOrg ’s team has been around for years. They are a great team and I keep close contact with many of their developers. Multichain will keep running as normal:

4/ I believe Andre ran one protocol on Fantom - @Solidly . @Solidex have announced they are taking over the Solidly UI:

5/ So no, these projects are not closing down development. Some of them have been running independently for years.

6/ As for the @fantomfdn , nothing changes operationally. All the core and middleware developers are working hard on the next updates.

7/ Snapsync: Fast syncing in a fraction of the time of a full node:

8/ LevelDb => PebbleDB on RPC nodes. So far reducing I/Os by ~90% during testing.

10/ We are continuously expanding our team of researchers and developers. We have some new members joining to accelerate our middleware (or “fvm”) development.

11/ The Fantom ecosystem consists of hundreds of developers building many great applications. They will continue.
