'We really don’t need more faith schools in this country. I wish the government would prioritise inclusive schools, rather than using taxpayer’s money to fund the Church of England's indoctrination programme.' Our Vice President

So if you aren’t catholic doesn’t that by definition mean you don’t get to heaven? So how much more exclusive can you get?
@michael_merrick
Surely the point of a Catholic school is to be exclusive, i.e. to exclude people who aren’t Catholic. A Catholic school that lets in anyone won’t be Catholic very long.
@michael_merrick
In Scotland, a teaching applicant can be denied a post if they dont have permission from the diocese. They can discriminate against an applicant on grounds of religion/fauth/personal belief. Doesn't seem fair.

Is there something in unnatural hair dye that travels along the hair strand and enters the brain? Why are all of its bearers so profoundly unoriginal ?
@michael_merrick
Well, the Catholic Church is a global body, involved in the education of over 65 million K-12 pupils worldwide. It speaks in scores of languages and is in dialogue with hundreds of cultures. What other UK (or Irish!) education body can say that of themselves?
