You know what the snide abuse MAT bosses get on here from some in the ed sector (or the hangers on) is unbelievable. I've never yet met a CEO who doesn't work their socks off for the benefit and betterment of all in their schools. Honestly education is an absolute pit at times

Or put another way, its amazing what people will convince themselves is acceptable when they think they're punching up. No member of staff, whatever their role, deserves or should have to live with such behaviour.

And please don't give me the whole 'well there was this one CEO...' nonsense. It justifies nothing. Any more than an anecdote about a teacher, or a TA, or anybody else in a school justifies maligning everyone else in the sector who happens to have the same job title.

@michael_merrick Having recruited more MAT CEOs than anyone else I can safely say EVERY CEO I’ve worked with has been committed to one very important thing: making life better for everyone associated with their trust and across the wider education sector. It can be a lonely job at times.

@michael_merrick Thankfully there is plenty of support and encouragement available - with a focus on this job - to counter this, if they look for it #TrustLeaders
