Today I spend more time trying to get my drivers permit, AGAIN. Lessons, tests, practice, insurance, eye tests all so I can DRIVE. How about some of these things to get a GUN. Doesn’t infringe on 2A. Surely my responsible gun owner friends can agree…right? #StudentsDemandAction

@mia_tretta Driving is a Privilege, firearm ownership is a Constitutional Right. Big difference.

@mia_tretta You're right. It makes no sense to spend months learning to drive safely when someone can walk into a gun shop and walk out minutes later with a deadly weapon made for killing--all without any training or licensing requirements. Keep working this!

@mia_tretta The Bill of Rights doesn’t say anything about taking tests or paying fees for your Freedom of Speech. The same applies to the 2nd Amendment.

@mia_tretta You shouldn't have to get a license to drive And you don't have to have any of those things to buy a car or use one on private property. By your logic I should be able to order and have a gun dropped off at my house

@mia_tretta If we implement the same criteria for voting, I'm game. It wouldn't infringe on 26A.

@mia_tretta There is no Constitutional 'right' to drive or own a vehicle. There is to own and use a firearm. False comparison.

@mia_tretta Most states require licenses and firearms all have serial numbers on them so it’s already done. Thanks for playing. Also Drivers licenses are not in the Bill of Rights maybe read it sometime

@mia_tretta This is the double standard, cars can kill people, guns can kill people, but the lawmakers think cars are more dangerous.

@mia_tretta No, Progressives abuse the privilege of setting standards, and will demand 40 hours/year of live training, a $million insurance policy, storing guns empty & unusable at home, high license fees. NY's Governor mapped out gun-free zones that eliminated all legal carry. It's a right.

@mia_tretta The only test you need to pass for gun ownership is to show enough hatred for fellow humans to be willing to purchase something designed to kill them. You pass the test when you go to school with it. Or a night club. Or a shopping mall.

@mia_tretta Nothing wrong with that. Anyone who's never owned a firearm definitely should get trained in safety and proper use. But that should be the only thing required in today's society. A license means nothing to a criminal. Punishment for crime committed with a gun needs to be severe
