I was shot at my high school when I was a 15yr old freshman. I’m now going to be a senior this fall. My entire high school career has been riddled with gun violence.

It's so not fair, not at all. Sadly we ALL go thru really tough challenges at some point in our lives, some worse than others. Some people get stronger from it, some become more empathetic, some become bitter. I will pray you find something positive from it, & that you have peace

I experienced eight separate shootings outside my home, in the street, two I saw unfold right on front of me,... One kid emptied a clip into a crowd, but only injured one.
I understand what you been through. Keep going.

I see you and I get it. A young man asked me if I could help him get his GED. He told me he dropped out of school because he didn’t feel safe at school.
Students should not be afraid to go to school.
