Trump could’ve gracefully passed the baton to DeSantis, worked to get the great governor of Florida elected, and salvaged his legacy in the process but his ego was too damn big. Now he will go down as a big-time loser, Sad!!

Me too. Trump had a hard ceiling in 2016 of about 30-35% depending on the state. He’s definitely lost some of those voters ro DeSantis, question is how many. Also, how quickly will the field consolidate, he won in 2016 because it took too long and he was able to get by with 30-35

Counterpoint, DeSantis could have showed humility, got the VP ticket, been endorsed by Trump for 2028, and been loved by all, but he had to get greedy and take those 10 million Murdoch bucks.
