We've been ordered to quarantine at home for 2 weeks. No school, baseball, swimming, friends etc. Kids are really upset. There will be lots of TV and video games, when they should be at school learning. All thanks to an anti-mask family🤬. The pandemic isn't over, stay safe!

Thank you Bob. Going to be a long two weeks staying inside quarantining with a 4 + 8 year old. I'll try to focus on enjoying this time with the kids.

Thanks Deaner. Might as well put that Astra Zeneca vaccine to the test! I felt like garbage for a few days after the vaccine, so.. maybe that means it will work :) At least I can still do podcasts from home..

Ugh. That's so frustrating. Most kids are barely hanging on after this long year & every bit of social / educational connection is vital. This is the tension between (the need for) herd immunity & (the unfortunate) herd stupidity. Sorry your family got caught in the middle.

Hi Matt, this is so frustrating when most of us are playing along. It is especially tough on kids these days. I hope that the 2 weeks go fast for your family. I would be so mad! Hope the sun shines and the backyard is welcoming.

we had a school-linked exposure in march. there was testing and isolating and a near two week disruption. its like, we made it this far, and we just need to get a bit further.
