I agree with everything Taaryn said in this thread. Illustrators, it's worth a read if you're interested in getting hired by an AD.

@MirkaHokkanen Truth be told, I use those two platforms not so much—though I know other art directors that do. Twitter and Instagram are my best resources, and I use Pinterest to keep work that piques my interest. The website information here is solid gold though.
