Most want to tell the public how smart they are and how matey with politicians they’ve become. Many want to be celebrities and opinion makers. Very few use critical thinking in reporting.

I've noticed a number of them not even bothering to hide their bias & prejudice. Posting anti Andrews & anti federal labor tweets.
I don't buy papers or watch MSM news for good reason. I'm tied of being lied to by people pretending to be delivering the news lies are lies not news

Not many. AS soon as a journo becomes identified as being a supporter of a particular party: e.g. Greg Sheridan; s/he is no longer a journalist. Courtier is the proper term.
