That's where you are wrong. "People" didn't go looking for dirt. "People" employed her knowing the dirt existed and intend to use the dirt to control her.
Claudine Gay was supposed to tow the line and be a good puppet for the "people."
She wasn't. She's paying the price now.

The problem with DEI is that those who benefit from them think that they are owed that position, not because of their competence.
But once their competence is questioned, instead of taking the L they question the questioner.
