Mavs need another ball handler & he: 1. Wanted to come 2. Was cheap 3. Can better run the offense than Frank & Josh Green 4. Mentor of the franchise’s cornerstone
Maybe not the ultimate difference, but hard to see who they’ll get to better fill that role when he was right there
