A judge can order a person in custody to be released on bail. Perfectly fine. But look at the sequence of events which led to
#Zubair
's release today. Just before bench rose for lunch,
#VrindaGrover
asked for a rebuttal, but post lunch, that was refused by YV Chandrachud. Why?
He said something like "We know what to do, we know how to safeguard individual liberty." Who authorised YV Chandrachud to make this remark on behalf of the bench? It was very obvious why rebuff was not allowed. That process could have taken an hour and then would be counters.
When the final order was read out, again by YV Chandrachud, the strategy was clear. After ordering release of
#Zubair
, a deadline was set for his release. No judge would do this, as there is a process to be followed, like bail amounts to be paid, individual sureties to be signed.
If Vrinda Grover was allowed her say, post lunch
#Zubair
release would not happen, as release from jails are usually not permitted after sunset. Was strange that Vrinda Grover accepted remark of YV Chandrachud. It was a coded message: "I will take care, you don't have to bother."

Justice Chandrachud is a Congi install, the way Cong leaders like Chiddu few others and their lawyer ecosystem P Bhushan, Indra Jaising, Vrinda G are cheering, it is very obvious. He was reading Cong leftist script, not a judgement on merit
@kochattil
Other serious charges are not slapped yet against Zubair. Wait and see.
In a court where more than 70000 cases are pending , maybe many are innocent and rotting in jail, SC does not have priority towards them but for a criminal.
