It depend on the dialogue. When a man has great qualities not a dog and treat you nice a homegirl asking if he has a brother just means does his dna consist of more men like him in his family whether brother, uncle etc… not every woman is slimey maybe switch up your lady friends…

i thought it was a tongue in cheek way of saying you want someone with similar qualities who is ~not~ that specific man lol. i always saw it as a complimentary thing instead of a competitive thing

Nah. I see it as a VERY respectful way of saying you understand their man is off-limits forever, but if there are more dudes raised in the same environment & HOT.. your friend should hook you up
