I have been very sad and ashamed since yesterday at how the police in Bangalore treated an honest hardworking boy from my neighbouring village of Sidri in Tons Valley, Uttarakhand when he went to file an FIR because his belongings were stolen from a bus. Can Twitter folks and…
To folks commenting and telling me that the boy has been careless...
You are the privileged 1% of the population, have you cared how 99% of India travels?
A guy after work has somehow managed to get into a crowded bus, and found a place wherever possible to store luggage. A…
I'll also give you a bit of cultural context here because I have lived in Uttarakhand for 10+ years. Once you leave the plains and head into the mountains, we are a very safe community up here. There are hardly any incidents of petty thefts in buses or shared taxis or pickpocket…
Update: A copy of a written complaint by Mukesh has been shared with
@elecityps
via DM. They also have his contact details.
Let's hope for the best that his documents are found 🙏

UPDATE: FIR has been registered at
@elecityps
this evening and complainant Mukesh has received a copy of it.
Hoping for best 🤞
At the least this will help in making the process of applying for duplicate documents easier. 🙏

I woke up near to my busstop and was very happy. I still have my…
