To avenge this incident where most of those killed were probably Afghans shot and killed by US forces, US forces drone-killed some more Afghans who they tell us were responsible.

I don't doubt the US troops probably panicked but is there some evidence of this? I mean there were thiusands of people around I am sure at least one had a cell phone....

This makes sense. Otherwise, how could there be 170+ dead and many wounded from a single suicide bomb, even in a packed crowd?
