Salt and Dust.
My genesis piece is now available on
@SuperRare
: a photo that I hope inspires you to seek the fleeting moments in nature that mirror our own short, beautiful lives. This film is my way of bringing you along for the adventure behind the photo. 🧵
Lava and stars, seen in a single image taken in the middle of the night in Iceland. An infinite universe of exploration gleaming through the smoke of a cataclysmic event in our own tiny and precious world.
How insignificant this adventure of mine must seem to those stars peering down on me... and yet it has moved me to my core and inspired my belief that in spite of our frailty and the way we vanish in the blink of an eye, we are meant shine brilliantly while we live.
"Life is the light between blinking," my brother once said to me. "So open your eyes, and see all that you can before they close forever."
This film, and the photo it supports, are my way of opening my eyes, my heart, my soul, and allowing you to be a part of what I have seen.
The link to my SuperRare profile is in my bio, and I've also uploaded a 4K version of the Salt and Dust film to my YT channel if you'd like to rewatch it in higher quality. Much love my friends 🤍
I'd also like to give a massive thank you to my dear friend
@eyrunlydia
for doing the voiceover, reading the poem I wrote and being a part of this project. Her voice and passion brought the whole piece together and I am beyond grateful for her involvement.
I had to add this tweet to the thread. “Salt and Dust” was bought on December 31st by

and
@sobylife
, two of the best friends I’ve made since entering this crazy world of NFT’s. I’ve never been more proud of my art than this film and the photo that goes with it 🤍

You just got me pumped to go shoot some landscapes and I usually won't pick up my camera unless there is a storm or northern lights in front of me. This is too good bro!
