The statement they made about it back in April never really sat right with me. Tammi has said the film is packed with easter eggs... but the joy in that is seeing them on the big screen. Fans would love nothing more to support this film as much as they could, we've waited 8 years
Will never not be annoying to acknowlegde that this could've easily been the highest grossing horror movie of all time if not for the streaming dual release.

I easily point to Across the Spider-Verse every time, film packed with little things and easter eggs that fans went back to theaters repeatedly to see. FNAF easily could've achieved this same effect but the fact that they aren't is worrying.
@TheScarletJoker
totally agree. just saw the estimated earnings for previews and stacked them up against preview earnings from other 2023 horror films...
FNaF might've at least been highest grossing horror of the year, a title currently held by The Nun II at $231M

it was always really funny to me that they put out this pr statement through the twitter account of a random actor who probably has less than 15 minutes of screentime in the movie. really adds to the validity of it.

Sounds to me like they’re saying “Bunch of parents probably won’t take their kids to see it, so those kids can just watch/sneak watch it at home.”
