@jmen600779 @richmond_ron I was shooting my .22 rifle I got for Christmas in 1973. I was 6 years old. I was taught at a early age how to shoot and respect guns.

@walker_maga @richmond_ron Me too. In 1969 I was 9 years old. I had a pump BB gun and pellet gun. We'd shoot Dove and Lizards. We actually ate the Dove. Not very many kids in the 4th grade had a dove breast in their lunch pale lol.

@jmen600779 I was 13 and packed a 12 gauge to school. I hunted dove, ducks, grouse, pheasant and rabbits on the way home. My dad was in VN, told me to take care of my mom and sister. Parents matter.

I went hunting with my Dad for 2 years, demonstrating that I was responsible enough to own my own rifles, then got a 22LR, and a 303 rifle, and a 20 gauge shotgun. 40 years later, no accidents, and still hunt.

@jmen600779 Yep, most of us that served in the military were 18-19. They sent us to war. I think we handled guns responsibly. Mike never served.

@jmen600779 @CharlesRSmith10 I'm sure the men of yesteryear would be utterly disgusted at the men of today. Honestly, I don't put all the blame on the men. It seems like the feminists and society today expect an apology for any sign of masculinity. Men are not ALLOWED to be men anymore.
