@NaijaFlyingDr We focus so much on trying to network with people who are far head and neglect our peers. Forgetting that our peers today will be the GMs, CEOs, Presidents etc of tomorrow/future. What better time to build a solid network with them than today?

I think we over rate the influence that billionaires can or want to have in out lives. But we underrate our peers. I give gifts to everyone. The billionaires rarely call to say thank you. My peers do. Most business referrals come from peers not billionaires.

@NaijaFlyingDr If I'm aware of the dinner ahead of time, I'll want to go with a proposal about what services my company offers which can add value to their business interests, and I will be focused on getting approval, referrals or recommendations on the proposal. It could be a magical moment!
